Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator training topics
DAY 1
This day is focused on getting a basic understanding of SFMC, the initial setup of a Salesforce instance, including users, security, and data management.
We will cover these specific exam topics:
- Marketing cloud overview
- Business units / Security / Permissions / Users
- Data model, management, and data quality
- Integrating external apps with SFMC via API, FTP, and Marketing Cloud connect
- Configuration and setup
We end the day with a case or assignment, and we will practice some certification exam questions.
DAY 2
This day is focused on the specific functionalities that come with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Working with Marketing Cloud products included in most license types
- Monitoring your account, including metrics impacting license costs (supermessages, contacts)
- Reporting
- Overview of Marketing Cloud extension products and features
We end the day with a case or assignment, and we will practice some certification exam questions.
